Body Type are one of those bands that—despite whatever might be the truth—seem to really know what they're doing. Since their debut single "Ludlow" mid-last year, the Sydney-based band have made it pretty clear what they're here to do: write songs that make you feel like breaking up with someone terrible and enjoying your goddamn summer; and make super endearing videos.
"Silver," the band's new single released last month, is yet another step in the right direction. A song about getting older, losing and gaining things, "Silver" is "a song of time and change." Today the band premiere the video, directed by Hope Street Productions."We were inspired by the smoke and mirrors studio set ups of the 80s and 90s," the band said. "What we choose to conceal and reveal subtly marks our own progression as a band, exchanging wigs for fake eyelashes and a car exhaust for dry ice."
