The Invisible: "Generational" Video

The Invisible serve up watery melancholia in their new video.

Finally, here's the new video for "Generational" from South London trio The Invisible, taken from their LP Rispah released earlier in the year. The album is basically a blend of experimental electronica and organic samples such as women wailing in mourning, thanks to it being written through lead singers Dave Okumu’s tears, as a way to deal with the death of his mother.

In which case, this sounds as melancholic as you might expect, with an airy, lulling vocal and plenty of conceptual imagery about water alongside a Creation Of Adam reference to meditate on, y'know, for when you’re reading Kant and wondering what the point of it all is. Also, after its release, Okumu nearly died on stage from an electric shock, so I can’t imagine the next album is gonna be that upbeat, either. Enjoy!
