Enter the Darkness with Bell Witch and Their Streaming LP 'Four Phantoms'

Stream the new LP due via Profound Lore on April 28, and available at Noisey for the first time.

There's something pure about a two piece band. Traveling is easy. Inter-band politics are limited. There's a co-dependence on the other guy to make sure to give their all. The problems come from working with a limited palette, unless you're Geddy Lee and/or have octopus arms.

One listen to Bell Witch and it's hard to believe so much racket comes from one pair of guys. And no guitar. Using a six string bass and employing tactics like finger tapping and other wizardry, Bell Witch use technicality to fuel melodicism, something that makes their new LP Four Phantoms unique, downtrodden, but ultimately triumphant. Fans of Mournful Congregation to Evoken to Ahab, take note.

Doom metal may be getting more and more boring and predictable in 2015, but you'd never guess it from Four Phantoms. Stream the LP in full below and order yours via Profound Lore.
