Boston producer, Durkin, remixes a now Danny Brown classic here, (y'know, the one with the tiny Doppelganger in the video) into a sort of bass-wobble fuelled, drum & bass mash up. A trend which everyone seems to be knicker dribbling about at the moment, but I don’t reeeeally get. Probably because I didn’t really listen to anything in the mid-90s except hip-hop and the Spice Girls, and talking about "syncopated beats" these days seems kinda dry. BUT, saying all that, this is actually pretty good, and I like how the bassline samples The Prodigy’s "Poison" and manages to make it sound listenable. Yet again further proof that rap is the best music.
