Cairo Liberation Front @ Dudok / Photo by Jostijn LigtvoetTilburg is a fairly big city by Dutch standards, but to outsiders, it feels small, cozy, even. It's supremely walkable, easy to navigate, and charmingly European, and best of all, its residents are completely unfazed by the streams of weirdos and riff-hounds that pack its streets several times a year. Incubate, the long-running "annual celebration of cutting-edge culture" that takes over the city for an entire week each year, brings out some of the wildest, most unexpected, and most fanciful artists in the world. Noisey was on hand at this year's edition to document some of the magic (and spent most of the weekend communing with its darkest offerings at the Natuurtheater).
