Black Tusk Get Very NSFW in Their New Video for "God's on Vacation"

Sex, violence, and sludge.

If you think about it, metal videos should always be unsafe for work—the kind of video that keeps your emotions and adrenaline pumping, perfectly in tandem with the roar of the music. Hopefully you'll feel this kind of energy while watching Black Tusk's new video for "God's on Vacation," off of their most recent record Pillars of Ash.

Directed by Alixandra Petrovich, the video follows a man camped out in a forest, who gets startled at a distant noise. He takes his rifle with him, and comes upon a green creature that's mostly human-like, and completely naked (the recurring Agatha figure from the band's John Baizeley-created covers). All the while, the band's brand of burly, adrenaline-spiked sludge soundtracks his encounter and a subsequent attempt to attack the creature (which doesn't turn out too well for him). It's a bloody good time of a video, showing how well the band's gritty sound compliments a violent video.
