Think you need a refresher on chemistry? I certainly do, since I haven’t taken a science class since high school. Luckily, Mitch Payne, a London-based commercial photographer, recently completed a series of photographs based on the periodic table of elements we all know and love. His Visual Exploration of the Periodic Table illustrates the characteristics of the element’s groups through surreal, abstract photography. Check out his formal, modern spin on chemistry.
