PREMIERE: Listen to “Sunshines,” an Unreleased Track from Blue Hawaii

The song will be released on Editorial Magazine’s ‘Editorial & Friends’ tape.

In case you’re unfamiliar with Blue Hawaii, they’re a Montreal-based electronic duo comprised of Braids frontwoman Raphaelle Standell-Preston and producer Alex “Agor” Cowan. We’re pleased to present you with “Sunshines,” a new song from the group that is being released on Editorial Magazine’s physical release, Editorial & Friends Tape. The mellow track features Standell-Preston’s gentle vocals over top of an ambient analog beat. The Editorial & Friends Tape will feature 17 unreleased tracks from various artists including Mac Demarco and Blood Orange.

“We just thought it'd be fun to ask our musical friends and friends we've featured in the magazine to make a secret, never-before-heard track,” Editor-In-Chief Claire Milbrath explains. “It was really fun and easy to put together. Everyone was really generous and into the idea of sending over a cover, demo, instrumental, or just unreleased track. We loved each song and it all happened to fit together pretty well.”
