Check out the new Obliterations Video "Kick Against The Pricks"

Featuring members of Black Mountain and Night Horse, you might think you have Obliterations pegged for a retro, Tee-Pee-esque throwback band. You'd be right if that definition included Annihilation Time; the band abandons the obvious 70s-stoner/groove influences found in their former projects for a more immediate sound, hardcore punk.

Under all of that hair, Obliterations is Sam James Velde (Vocals), Austin Barber (Bass), Stephen McBean (Guitar) and Flo Schanze (Drums). The band is readying the release of their debut 7" via Outer Battery Records on 10/22 (streaming) and you can check out the video for "Kick Against The Pricks," one of four songs on the release, below. Think middle-period Black Flag/SST or Poison Idea and you're on the right path.
