Day Two of Lollapalooza somehow managed a lineup even stranger than the first night, which culminated in a grueling three-way set time conflict as Paul McCartney, the Weeknd and Flying Lotus played at the same time. Sets from Charli XCX, Kid Cudi, Tame Impala, Sam Smith and Metallica showcased a broad range music savvy much grander in scale than the festival's traveling early 90s alternative rock revue beginnings. Is bigger better?
