On August 17th, The JanSport Bonfire Sessions Head Out West With The Fruit Bats, Seapony, & Tacocat

Free live music under the Seattle summer sky.

The summer sun may be waning and the festival season winding down, but JanSport and Noisey are still bringing you the best live shows under the big sky, and (as always) we're doing it for free. Why? Because we love you, and we just want you to be happy.

On Friday, August 17th, the Jansport Bonfire Sessions series will be heading to Bear Creek in Seattle to highlight three of our favorite bands from local labels Sub Pop and Hardly Art. Indie rock royalty The Fruit Bats are slated to headline the event, with local pop-punk revivalists Tacocat and lush twee-rockers Seapony laying down unmissable sets in support. In addition to walking away with buzzing eardrums and an unflinching grin, concertgoers will receive limited edition silk-screened prints courtesy of Portland artist Patrick Fong (who designed the killer poster you see below), as well as all sorts of goodies from Jansport.

Doors are at 7, but if you want to get through them, you've got to RSVP here. And if you need any more convincing, check out some tracks from the featured artists below, and peep what went down at our last three Bonfire Sessions. See you out West!
