I'm at a loss for words trying to describe the mindfuck contained in this video, a collection of unhinged commercials for an annual Dutch hardstyle rave called Thunderdome, which happens to feature the best use of 90's CGI that you will ever see. Here's what I've got—imagine every toy in one of those pop-up Halloween stores coming to life, invading your home, and screaming to you about the joys of raving in hilariously broken English while you involuntarily chug an endless quantity of Redbull. My personal highlights: a truly horrifying image of transmutation at 1:51, the haunting glimpse of a Fu-Gees remix at 3:53, and the downright inspirational speech introducing Thunderdome XX starting at 5:17. Oh, and the phrase "Cyber-fucking-hardcore." After you watch this take a moment to reflect on the fact that it actually aired on TV.
