PREMIERE: London Grammar's Dot Remixes Ásgeir's "King and Cross"

It's the perfect tide-over until London Grammar release their follow-up to 'If You Wait.'

Ásgeir makes the kind of storybook atmospheric folk music that could only come from Iceland. His lead single "King and Cross," from his album In the Silence, is an otherworldly, emotionally-wrenching ballad that comes with a music video where ballerinas and a SWAT team dance together. Now the track has been reworked to an even more slowburning degree by London Grammar's Dot Major, who added a weepy piano-laden intro and a crunchy beat and dialed up the vocals. It's a little more haunting and darker than the original—which is exactly what you'd expect from one of the members of brood-rock trio London Grammar. It's also the perfect tide-over until London Grammar release their follow-up to If You Wait. Listen to the remix below and check out Ásgeir's upcoming tour dates.
