PREMIERE: Cut Some Film in Gossamer's New Visual for "Print"

Into the viewfinder, into the heart.

Gossamer is an experimental electronic musician from Los Angeles that plays hazy electronic music evocative of groups like Autechre or Boards of Canada. In his new visual for "Print," which is directed by experimental film maker Miko Revereza, we follow a film process in multiple steps, but then it gets kind of fucked up. The glassy synths blink over and over, while we look into what might be the inside of a film enlarger, or through a loop. You can see the photos of a family get rinsed, and the eyes of whoever is present is overcome by a large shadow. In the light of the video, the song takes on a different light than without it. Each note of the keys or hit of the drums makes everything become more introspective and reflective, a new light and discovery into what's possible with our eyes.
