If you spent your Saturday evening watching teenagers dreams being repeatedly smashed in front of a baying mob of thousands on The Voice, or face-down against the side of a Night Bus, then you’ll have missed ScHoolboy Q’s AMA. Because the secondary purpose of the internet is now to report on the internet, here’s what we learnt.

A COLLABORATIVE RECORD WITH MAC MILLER AND A$AP ROCKY COULD BE IN THE WORKS

Mac Miller, wrongly considered by many to be a frat-boy who smokes a bunch of weed and writes songs to drink out of red cups to, has put out a plethora of mixtapes. His Larry Lovestein EP delves into lounge jazz and his Delusional Thomas alter-ego is scattered with pitch-shifted vocals. The majority of projects that he’s put out in recent memory are all wildly different and hearing ScHoolboy collaborate on one of them could be a possibility. When asked who he’d like to collaborate with, Q replied: “Rocky!!! Me and Mac wanna do a alternative album but rap keeps me tied up.”

HE OWNS 300 BUCKET HATS

“How many bucket hats do you own?” asked a Reddit user, to which ScHoolboy replied, “about 300”. I’m trying to imagine where he keeps them all, maybe he’s like Tinie Tempah and has so many clothes that he keeps some at his aunts house.

When asked about the favourite song he’s made so far, Q stated a track called “Blind Threats” which features Raekwon. The same user also asked about a track with Tyler, The Creator, that’s been rumoured for a while. Q confirmed this, typing “song wit tyler is on my album FEB. 25TH”, which makes me want to make a joke about Trap Lord being in stores now for almost five months, but TBH, everyone tired that joke out long ago.
