Following the delay of the Labor Secretary nominee Andrew Puzder’s confirmation hearing—which was originally scheduled to take place on January 12 and is now tentatively scheduled for the 17th, but will likely occur in February—protests and rallies against the polarizing fast food mogul erupted nationwide. Members of the Fight for $15 movement and their supporters gathered throughout the country, most often in front of Carl’s Jr and Hardee’s restaurants, to voice their opposition to Puzder’s likely appointment to the position of Labor Secretary.
