Silent Hill: Townfall is just a little more than a month away from its official launch and fans of the horror franchise can celebrate the upcoming launch by checking out more than 18 minutes of footage from the game.

SIlent Hill: Townfall Is Console Exclusive to PS5 for At leaSt 6 Months

The early teaser trailers for Silent Hill: Townfall set the tone for the upcoming horror game and introduced the main protagonist, but a new extended gameplay reveal trailer offers the closest look yet at what the upcoming PS5 console exclusive game has to offer.

The extended gameplay begins with what appears to be the opening of the game. After some brief establishing shots and voice over narration, the focus shifts to Simon’s journey as he enters the Shorefront region and begins his terrifying journey.

We see Simon explore, find some items, and eventually even engage in combat against some of the monsters that are roaming the creepy seaside town. Things get more intense and scarier from there as the situation escalates and Simon finds himself in even more danger.

Although there are no major plot points revealed, gamers who want to enter the experience without any spoilers may want to skip over this extended trailer.

“Explore the fog-shrouded island of St. Amelia and experience over 18 minutes of atmospheric gameplay from two sections of this brand new entry in the SILENT HILL series.
Navigating the houses and apartments of the Shorefront region, embark on the story of Simon as he is called back to the island to ‘make things right.”

Perhaps even more interesting than the gameplay for some non-PS5 console gamers was a bit of fine print that appeared at the end of the video. The closing slate reiterated that Silent Hill: Townfall is a PlayStation 5 console exclusive, but the bottom of the screen offered some more details on exactly what that means.

“Also available on PC. Not available on other consoles until at least 6 months after release date.”

This is far from an official announcement of Xbox Series or Nintendo Switch 2 releases, but it does open up the posibility that sometime after March 2027 the game could see additional releases on other console platforms.
