The new video for Skylar Spence’s track “I Can’t Be Your Superman,” off the producer’s debut album Prom King, is a tale of violent passion. Directed by Maegan Houang, the short feels like a Tarantino film condensed into a matter of minutes. And while a video full of blood, guts, and LED-lit rainbows might seem odd, outlandish art is nothing new to the man formerly behind the peculiar nu-disco act Saint Pepsi.
