This weekend marks the third annual LA Art Book Fair, put on by the rad folks at New York’s Printed Matter. For three days, the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA will host tons of artists, curators, collectors, and publishers selling zines, books, prints, posters, and T-shirts.

Among those hawking their artsy wares is Girlfriends—essentially an all-female art collective curated by talented New York-based Dafy Hagai—who has brought together a gang of young, self-published female artists from Japan, Israel, the UK, the US, and Canada.
VICE readers should be familiar with some of the names at the table—Maya Fuhr, Claire Milbrath from The Editorial, and Rebecca Storm—and Monika Mogi, Dana Boulos, ( bothmembers of Petra Collins’s Ardorous collective) and Valerie Phillips will also be showing work.
So if you’re lucky enough to be in Los Angeles this weekend and want to support some of the awesome talent coming from Canada and elsewhere, drop on by and say hello to Girlfriends for us.
