The dudes of Mississippi screaming lo-fi rock duo Bass Drum of Death have been called a lot of things–“dirty”, “nasty”, “quasi-Ramones”–but “refined” is definitely not one of them. Really though, what can you expect from a garage rock duo that wrote and recorded their debut LP all by themselves with nothing but drums, a guitar, a USB mic, a computer, and a hell of a lot of patience? But it all works in their favor; their first release, GB City, is a stand-out triumph of gritty, sweaty grunge rock in a sea of autotune and bleepy-bloopies in our post-Jobsian, Nu-Garage-Band society.

To gear up for the launch of their European tour this November, John and Colin have released a new track and, as per their “devil may care” approach to music (and just about everything), the track is scuzzy, brash, unmastered, and entitled “I Dunno”.
