Illustrations of astronauts, cats, and a cheesecake-dwelling narwhal populate Korean artist Lookandraw‘s space-faring Instagram account. The artist’s feed was populated exclusively by fashion illustrations until two weeks ago, when it exploded with whimsical, Bee and Puppycat-esque vignettes. Each drawing feels like a small puzzle piece of a vibrant community that happens to be freefloating in space. The variety in jobs given to citizens of Lookandraw’s imaginary village is staggering, from ice fisherman to star-gatherer to “The Strongest Cat in the Universe.” Meet these characters and more in the Instagrams below.
