Monaco is No. 4 in Ligue 1 and Tottenham Hotspur are No. 5 in the Premier League, but the Europa League group stage proved today that no two leagues are created equal. In today’s match between the two top five teams, Spurs dominated Monaco in a resounding 4-1 victory that saw an Erik Lamela hat trick and a beautiful goal from Tom Carroll (above).
