Sure, you can make a boring, pedestrian, run-of-the-mill sangria. Just add some apples, oranges, and lemons to a subpar bottle of white zinfandel or whatever have you.

Blackberries, raspberries, and peaches are abundant and delicious just when you most want to drink sangria. Throw them into a pitcher with a few special touches—namely, agave syrup and a vanilla pod—and you’ll soon be drinking the best sangria you’ve ever tasted.
