El Gato Fotógrafo—or "the photographer cat," in English—is one of the most recognized nightlife photographers in Bogotá, Colombia. He's been behind the camera for over six years now, documenting in detail all the highlights from innumerable rumba nights in the country's capital city, and got his start in the scene purely by chance after shooting a gay party called "Flower Power" at the Bogotán bar Bardot. Together with THUMP Colombia, El Gato Fotógrafo collected his favorite images from gay parties over the past six years, offering an exclusive glimpse into the beauty, freedom, and authenticity of the dance floors where the LGBTQ community is the main star.
