Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett's cartoon band Gorillaz have released The Now Now, the follow up to last year's Humanz. The album includes appearances from George Benson, Snoop Dogg, and Jamie Principle, but it's alarmingly feature-free elsewhere—a rarity for a band who made their name through oddball crossovers. The whole thing is moderately funky. Last week, the band performed The Now Now in full for Boiler Room. Murdoc, the band's bassist, incarcerated. Or something. Read more about that here.
