Win a Record Player and Super-Rare Copy of the ‘Life Is Strange’ Soundtrack on Vinyl

Dontnod's acclaimed game features several fantastic songs, which you can own for yourself.

THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED

It's the start of the year. It's miserable outside. You're cold. You're broke. You need a pick me up. This might be just what you need – assuming you enter our competition, keep everything crossed and make sure not to walk under any ladders for the next fortnight.

Courtesy of publishers Square Enix, VICE Gaming has a super-rare double-gatefold copy of the licensed soundtrack to Dontnod Entertainment's 2015 hit Life Is Strange to give away, featuring songs from the likes of Bright Eyes, alt-j, Mogwai, Local Natives, Amanda Palmer and Foals, as well as tracks from the game's score composer, Jonathan Morali. (That menu music, right?) How rare is this snazzy twin platter of sublimely melancholic sounds, I hear you ask? The vinyl edition of the Life Is Strange soundtrack is limited to 500 copies worldwide, and you can't actually buy it from regular stores. So that's pretty rare, really, isn't it? DON'T ENTER our competition now, using the widget below, AS THE COMPETITION IS CLOSED.

But! There's more. As well as this already top prize, we're also throwing in something to play it on: an Auna Nostalgy record deck, which is like a regular turntable only retro-styled and housed within a mostly portable sort of suitcase exterior. It looks incredibly cool. It has a tone knob. You can turn it and everything. You want to turn it, don't you? Of course you do. You're only human.

ONCE AGAIN, THIS COMPETITION IS CLOSED, DO NOT ENTER IT, WE HAVE DRAWN A WINNER. THANKS.

To enter this competition, which will close at 10am (GMT) on February 5th 2016, all you need to do is pop your details into the widget above, like we already said, submit them and wait. The winner will be contacted as soon as the competition ends. This competition is open to UK residents only, aged 18 or over at the date of entry. (Sorry, foreign readers and Life Is Strange fans of non-legal-drinking age – get a pal to enter for you, maybe?) Full terms and conditions can be found here. Good luck.

The special-edition physical version of the massively acclaimed Life Is Strange, featuring an art book, director's commentary and the game's soundtrack on compact disc, is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC – more information here.
