My biggest ambition in life is to party like a drag queen. I want to vogue like I’m the empress of cunt, doing suicide dips and landing on my hands without breaking a single glittering nail. I want to prowl dancefloors, part crowds, and turn heads. And I want to do it to the fierce beats of Vjuan Allure.
Allure is one of the wildest players in ballroom dance music; he started voguing in New York’s nightclubs at age eleven—he probably crawled under the bouncer’s legs or something—and has been a “proud walking member of the Legendary House of Allure since 2000.”

Allure was the first DJ to remix Masters at Work’s “The Ha Dance”—the track that is now as ubiquitous to ballroom as corn syrup is to food—and his style of raw, frisky beats went on to define a new sound for a rapidly growing genre. Today, everyone from Lady Gaga to Le1f can thank Allure for showing them how to pull off a cunty ‘tude.
There are a million reasons to love Allure. And not just because all his photos online are bedazzled with twinkling little stars, but because his self-described “magnifique beats” will make you want to WERK. But okay, seriously, check out those star-spangl’d photos. And his perfect eyebrows.
Lucky for you, we’re premiering Allure’s latest—a fabulous track called “The Full Service Bounce.” It’s part of Full Service All Stars Vol. 2 EP, a compilation album by the eponymous Brooklyn-based crew/radio show/DJ collective. And giiiiiirl, this song will make you wanna have a kiki. Follow Full Service on Soundcloud for more.
