Two Great One-Handed Catches Get Ravens In End Zone

Marlon Brown and Torrey Smith made a pair of one-handed catches on Baltimore's opening scoring drive against the Chargers.

Marlon Brown and Torrey Smith were out balling early today in Baltimore and helped the Ravens take an early 7-0 lead over the San Diego Chargers. Brown kept the drive going on third-and-seven, reaching behind his body on the the run to snare Joe Flacco's pass over the middle and get the first down.

Torrey Smith, also on third-and-long, hauled in the touchdown with the equally impressive grab in the top GIF. He ran over the middle and reached out with his left hand to settle the spinning ball as he crossed the plane of the end zone for a 16-yard touchdown. In all, it was an eight-play, 61-yard drive to open the game.
