A selection of tracks from the one of the UK's most successful breakbeat crossover acts

Chase and Status are one of the greatest success stories in the history of UK bass. Formed around 2005, the duo of Saul Milton and Will Kennard earned their chops in the thriving underground dance scene of London as a junglist-leaning drum and bass duo before taking on the ambitious task of expanding their sound and crossing over into the mainstream with their second album "No More Idols" in 2011. It worked. They've been a ubiquitous presence on the UK charts ever since.

Their newest album "Brand New Machine," released at the tail end of 2013, finds them breaking into the US market for the first time. Although some on this side of the pond not be familair with their work, their live shows draw upon a deep and rangy catalogue of dark, but catchy breakbeat anthems.
