Stormzy Brought Out MNEK, J Hus and Ghetts for an Extremely Good New Live Lounge

Includes a Frank Ocean cover, and a casual Wretch 32 cameo.

Stormzy, I assume, has not had a day off in about six weeks. It has been exhausting work for music bloggers and journalists around the country, typing then re-typing his name with news almost daily of new music releases, fun stunts on his promo trail and the notably less fun incident with his mental health NME mag cover a couple of weeks ago. At some point between late January and the release of his Gang Signs & Prayer album in late February, he became an unstoppable force on your timeline.

Well, welcome to more of the same. Just when we thought we'd be able to catch a breather, Radio 1Xtra put out this video, of Stormzy's latest Live Lounge performance, filmed earlier this month. This time round he brought out producer/performer MNEK, J Hus, Ghetts and Wretch 32 to help him launch through some cuts from his own album. Bonus: a sultry cover of Frank Ocean's "Godspeed."

At this point, it is unclear what Stormz does to relax or unwind, but we can only assume it's … performing and writing more music. To each his own.
