ESPN's Trey Wingo is a mild-mannered madman. In this seven minute clip he rattles off the score, location, and MVP for each of the 49 Super Bowls in NFL history. He may have missed a location or MVP somewhere in there, but this is a very impressive display, even if it might be generally useless knowledge that is now readily available on a quick Google search. It's especially crazy since he's not recalling facts that you can really grab on to and remember; this whole recitation is, like, 95 percent random numerals. There's nothing tangible to help jog a leaky memory, there are not many mnemonic devices to help remind you of something like "Super Bowl 10, 21-17, Orange Bowl in Miami, Lynn Swan your MVP." But the most impressive thing to me is that he also editorializes a few times, adding some personal anecdotes from games he attended, or telling you who should have won MVP that year like when he talks about "Super Bowl 25, obviously 20-19—wide right—Otis Anderson your MVP, although Thurman Thomas was clearly the best running back in that game."This would make for a great little hustle assuming, of course, he's not just making it all up. We certainly aren't going to fact check him.[reddit]
