Chicago icon Common headlined Chicago’s Mamby On The Beach festival last night, and to celebrate the occasion, he brought out none other than fellow Chicago icon Chance The Rapper. The pair performed “The Food”, a track from Common’s 2006 album Be, produced by none other than Chicago icon Kanye West. The hometown pride was off the charts at Mamby On The Beach, apparently! Watch footage of the performance above.
Chance recently jumped on “Forever Always“, a new song from Social Experiment keys player Peter CottonTale. Earlier this month, he brought out Childish Gambino at Open Mike Chicago, part of a series of events for Chicago high school students.
