Watch Lorde Perform a Damn Good Version of Drake’s “Shot for Me”

Lorde is using her tour as an excuse to make beautiful covers of all her favorite rap songs. Earlier this week at a Chicago show, she performed Kanye West’s “Love Lockdown” and “Runaway.” Now, she’s in Toronto and she’s paying homage to the 6 God’s “Shot for Me.” She even let her fans in on a little secret about Drake, that he’s a “great hug giver.” The cover is pretty good and she definitely gives her Lorde spin on it, making it dark and breathy, but no one can top Take Care era Drake.
