To promote their seventh album Whiteout Conditions, the New Pornographers brought the title track to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. To make things even more special for the Canadian power pop collective, member Neko Case joined with the band onstage after not touring with them on recent dates. Watch the unquestionably fun performance below and remind yourself why bandleader Carl Newman wanted these songs to sound like “bubblegum krautrock.”
