HOZAC RECORDS SHOWCASE AT DON PEDRO'S

Tonight! Tonight there's a free Hozac Records showcase at Don Pedro's dually hosted by Impose and Midnite Till Death, which is what I call myself when I'm putting on parties.

Here's the lineup:

8PM: Woven Bones are raucous teenage cavemen who use a lot of that spacey organ sound that sort of trills in the background nonstop.

9PM: Girls at Dawn canceled after I made the flyer.

9PM: Total Slacker are shimmery guitar weirdos whose frontman doesn't want anyone to know he used to be in a progressive jazz band called the Tucker Rountree Sound.

10PM: X Ray Eyeballs is a gothy, something-wave band who would be a Brooklyn supergroup if anybody knew what other bands their members were also in.

11PM: Reading Rainbow is two people from Philadelphia who play great music and can't pronounce the words "water" or "Girard Avenue" without making us laugh.

12AM: The Babies has one of the ex-Vivian Girls in it and that's all I know about the Babies.

Jonathan Toubin, Charly Himmel, and Thomas Morton will be DJing their respective favorites.

IT'S FREE BECAUSE PBR IS SPONSORING IT.
