MELBOURNE - CATFOOD PRESS TONIGHT

Are you bored with wearing a cowboy hat and snorting fake cocaine mixed with real semen at The Ding-Dong Cafe? Of course you are! Instead of talking about your favorite Polvo record you should make your way to Catfood Press for a show featuring real men and their instruments. Tonight's extravaganza features the sounds of Lakes: a one man synth whirlwind who's vegan influence is legendary, Occult Blood, who are making being able to play your instrument look about as cool as socialism and the USA's Puerto Rico Flowers. Tonight marks the first live appearance of man-goth merchants, The Puerto Rico Flowers, who I'm told through the grape vine have mastered the art of thuggish sadness. So, if you're tired of pretending to like Spencer P. Jones please make your way down Lygon St. for an experience not to be missed.
