Hassan Whiteside and Alex Len Ejected for Fighting

Hassan Whiteside and Alex Len got into an old-fashioned slobberknocker and both were ejected in Miami last night.

Pros being pros, Hassan Whiteside and Alex Len had to show Baylor and Texas how to really rumble on a basketball court. In the third quarter against Phoenix, Whiteside grabbed the rebound off a Dwyane Wade miss and dunked it all over Len, who also fouled the Miami big man. On his way down Whiteside's arm came down and hit Len in the shoulder. Len then threw Whiteside to the ground and we had ourselves a good old fashioned slobberknocker.

The two combatants were the only ejections because, again, pros being pros, no one from either bench left to join the fracas. Some four minutes previous to this, Markieff Morris was ejected after a hard foul on his former teammate Goran Dragic. Dragic looked to have the step on a fast break bucket, but Morris came from behind to try to block it. Instead of getting the ball, Morris got Dragic's head and sent him flying into the crowd behind the hoop. It didn't look intentional, but it was hard and dangerous, so officials hit him with a Flagrant 2 and sent him packing.
