Corrupt American FIFA official turned whistleblower Chuck Blazer has finally been given a lifetime ban by FIFA. The U.S. Justice Department flipped Blazer, who turned into a key witness in the American corruption investigation into FIFA.

Sonia Bien-Aime, head of the governing body of Turks and Caicos football, is set to become the new FIFA Executive Committee member from CONCACAF. Bien-Aime will take office later this month. She is the first woman in the history of FIFA to hold such a rank.

In the CONCACAF Gold Cup, Costa Rica tied Jamaca 2-2. In the evening's second game, El Salvador and Canada played to a scoreless draw.

Colombian and Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado will join Lionel Messi on the cover of FIFA 2016's Latin American edition. This after a season in which he hardly played for Chelsea.

Speaking of Messi, as I reported yesterday, he's possibly taking a break from the Argentinian national team after heavy criticism and the assault of his family at the Copa America final. According to Spanish media, the following is video of the incident, although it doesn't appear to show anything particularly violent.

Stage 5 of the Tour de France was full of crashes. Nothing as epic as Stage 3, but things got slippery when it began raining. The Tour released some footage from driver-mounted cameras and it's not pretty:

At Wimbledon, John McEnroe surprised some fans with a ride to the event. In this strangely-edited video, he also gives his thoughts on Andy Murray.

This week marks the 15th anniversary of Valentino Rossi's first British Grand Prix win, which is arguably the race that marked the beginning of his dominance in motorcycle racing. Between 500cc and MotoGP, he's gone on to win 85 grand prixs, period of dominance rarely seen in any sport.

The Iker Casillas transfer from Real Madrid to Porto is officially official. It's sensational news, insofar as Casillas is one of the most important Madrid players of all time, and he's been cast aside by the only club he's ever played for.
