It Looks Like an Eagles Fan Might Have Destroyed HitchBOT

It Looks like an Eagles fan in a Randall Cunningham jersey probably destroyed HitchBOT.

There has been much hullabaloo made about the destruction of Canada's drifter garbage can mooch, HitchBOT in these United States. News broke over the weekend that the traveling refuse container was dismembered in Philadelphia and the project was aborted.

Surveillance footage has been unearthed of the final minutes of Canada's beloved fake robot and it seems an Eagles fan, specifically a Randall Cunningham fan, is the culprit. It's hard to tell for sure, but that's definitely a No. 12 jersey and the name on the back is quite long. Putting together all the context clues—in Philadelphia, No. 12 jersey, long name, and Birds fans being known the world over as intolerant of robotic hitchhikers—it seems safe to assume it's an Eagles fan.

This will no doubt validate the "Philly fans are monsters who throw batteries and snowballs at Santa" crowd, but consider this: it's seriously a bucket you might find on any construction site with pool noodles for arms and legs and, like, a tracking device on it. Also it's from Canada.
