Video: Kove - "Love For You"

This is what happens when you don't let your girlfriend watch The Real Housewives.

In history's catalog of creepy love songs, you've got The Police's classic stalker anthem "Every Breath You Take," Motorhead's Lolita homage "Jailbait," and Clay "Already Looks Like A Pervert" Aiken's "Invisible," where the former American Idol star sings verses like "If I was invisible then I could just watch you in your room."

But who would've guessed that "Love For You"—a jubilant house hit so sugary sweet it feels like bathing in a tub full of Skittles—is actually about a scary stalker who chloroforms the shit out of the apple of her eye, ties him up, and forces him to watch her "sexy dance"? Yep, that's basically what goes down in this latest video from Kove, the 22-year-old UK producer who was also behind last year's drum and bass hit "Iodine." Kove was just snatched up by Chase & Status' MTA Records, and his next EP Measures is released into humanity at the end of the week (although you can also stream it here). Gentlemen, this is what happens when you don't let your girlfriends watch The Real Housewives.

Kove's Measures EP is out October 21 on MTA Records.
