Attack of the Robot — Hairstylists?

The first hair-washing robot, vapid banter not included.

And so the servitude of robots begins. Or rather continues, as we already have robots to clean our floors, to support our aching backs in the form of a robot bed and now, thanks to the brains at Panasonic, we have a robot that can wash our hair. Created to assist workers at hospitals and care centers, the device has 16 human-like fingers with two arms with power detection sensors which scan the human head 3-dimensionally so it doesn’t apply too much pressure and, presumably, pop your head like a water balloon. It can also give head massages, but no news yet if it can bore you with recommendations about where you should go on vacation.
