Paul Thomas Anderson's New Movie Is Shooting This Month

And more exciting film stuff from the Grolsch Film Works blog.

Our friends at Grolsch Film Works have a website where you can find out what they’ve been up to and read/watch interesting stuff about films. Every week we'll be plucking the highlights. This is that.

Presumably Phoenix will take the leading role; there are also rumours that Charlize Theron will appear, although nothing is concrete.

No Longer Relevant TV Stars Want Your Money

Last week, Zach Braff was reminding us all of his BFFship with Scrubs co-star Donald Faison in a bid to get us to fund his new movie on Kickstarter, now Melissa Joan Hart (aka Sabrina the Teenage Witch) is expecting us to fork over $2 million to fund her new star vehicle, Darci's Walk of Shame, even though she's explicitly stated there will be "No magic. No black cat." While Braff's project and the recent Veronica Mars Kickstarter reached their $2 million goals within a couple of days, Hart's project is still lingering on $50,000 after several weeks. Sorry to break it you Melissa, but no black cat, no money bay-bay.

The “look at my shyeet” and Disney-girls-gone-bad madness of Spring Breakers has finally introduced Harmony Korine to the mainstream. Sort of.
