CORPORATE SHILLING - NINJA BLADE EXPLAINED

One of the most sadly missed artifacts of video game culture gone by is the instruction booklet. Remember them? Those little guys? That's where the diehard gamers separated themselves from the dilettantes (and the opportunity to see a girl's vagina) by learning that the bat-looking monsters are called winglebobs and that the Sword of Ancients was beaten from the embers of Encephalon in the sulfur-choked smithies of Xnrgax. If you were really lucky, the game's designers would run out of material and commission some Japanese cartoonist with a poor sense of proportion to fill out the last three pages with a little comic of the game's plot, even if that meant coming up with a backstory for something completely insane like Q*Bert.

Well, in order to stoke interest in their new zombie-ninja thing Ninja Blade Xbox have revived this time honored tradition and drummed up a little serial manga for the game. So far they've only put up part one, but from what we can tell the game mostly revolves around hanging out with a large black surfer named Andy, swording the infected, and causing the death of a highrise window washer in Manhattan. Also Ken really knows how to make that bike sing.
