etc) it kinda sounds all too techy and same-same for me. The vocals usually annoy me, which is a problem, but this is where Sadistic Intent differ from your average bunch of women-hating death metallers from Nijmegen or wherever. The vocals are like the whisperings of a mummified lunatic unearthed unceremoniously after thousands of years by grave-robbing archaeologists. Anyway, this is really good but sadly I find that the

Resurrection EP

from which this comes from is the only release to feature bassist Bay Cortez on vocals. Bay and his brother Rick also founded Dark Realm records, which is a bit of a hangout for metallers in Downey, California. Sadistic Intent haven't put out any original material since 1998 but are basically the backing for Jeff Becerra's reformed
