There are four big political parties in Canada: the blue one, the red one, the orange one, and the French one. At the moment, the blue one is in charge, but not by much. In fact, if you add up all the red and the orange and the French, the blue is in the minority. This feat of political arithmetic is the carrot dangling in the the loser faces of Canada's other political parties right now. So, in order to knock the blues out of power, they're going to write a letter. Yes, a letter. The Liberals, the NDP, and the Bloc are working on this letter, which will detail their plan for a Megazord-style coalition government to take down the one that's currently in office. They will send this letter to Jean, who is our Governor General (she gets to decide when the Queen is allowed to come over and when we can have elections) and if Jean's cool with it and this all really happens, and we predict it will, Harper's second term in charge of a minority government will be over, and Stéphane Dion will be the new Prime Minster. OK?
