I've never been a fan of water fights. I much prefer a game that I call sewage sniper (pictured). But water fights have become a thing in London lately after photos were published of a burly 16-year-old knocking a girl out when she squirted him at a Facebook-organised Summer Splash. Following a fatal stabbing at an "splash mob" two weeks ago, everyone has demonised the boy in question, Daniel McInerney, before listening to his version of events. Well, the feisty Ealing lad has finally told/sold his side of the story to The Mirror. To set the record straight and to prove to public he's not a moronic thug, here is Daniel's considered response to that incident…"She threw juice in my face and I was angry because I had to go all the way home with a sticky T-shirt and juice in my face."So I just reacted bad. I was just annoyed at the fact she done it."Fair enough it was a water fight but I didn't have no water gun, no bottles in my hand. I didn't have no water."I was just going to see what girls were there."She just came out of nowhere and threw juice straight in my face. And the way she was laughing and trying to mock me."I admit I'm in the wrong. I mean fair enough, I hit a girl. But I had to take off my top and put it in the bin."
