Hodgkinson, a 66-year-old from Belleville, Illinois, has been identified as the suspect in the shooting of a Republican congressman at a baseball game in Virginia on Wednesday morning, has died according to a statement read by President Trump.Trump announced at a press conference before noon that Hodgkinson had died from his injuries after a shootout with security personnel and Capitol Police."Authorities are continuing to investigate the crime and the assailant has now died from his injuries," Trump said from the White House.Continue reading on VICE News.
