Nightizm Re-imagines Schoolboy Q and Kendrick Lamar's "Blessed"

What else does Nightizm have up his sleeve? We can only hope it's more tracks like this one.

Toronto based producer Nightizm has developed a name for himself with his now signature brand of eerie and gothic trap. He's beginning to hone a sound of big, cathedral soundscapes contrasted against tight hi-hats and 808s. But with his newest remix of Schoolboy Q and Kendrick Lamar's "Blessed," Nightizm goes a little more commercial. By flexing his production muscles a little more this time, he produces a rework that nicely balances the original track and elements of his own interpretation. He manages to make it his own without overpowering the original, resulting in a mature and intricate release that provides both dream-like nostalgia and dark and dirty fragments. It's an exciting step to see the young producer take, as we expect he will only continue to fine tune his approach to sounds. Enjoy the results of his latest handiwork above.
