Our Creators are a talented and prolific bunch, and our inbox is always overflowing with alerts of new remixes and mashups from the incredible DJs and producers in our line-up. We just couldn't keep these fresh new tunes to ourselves because, after all, filesharing is caring. Here are our top picks from the past week.Kool Keith: “Drugs” (Two Fingers remix)Bronx-based rapper Kool Keith, a founding member of Ultramagnetic MCs and inventor of “horrorcore,” has a track out called “Drugs” that might just make you never want to touch the stuff… especially if you read the lyrics. Talk about depressing. Amon Tobin‘s sideproject Two Fingers, a collaboration with Doubleckick, gives the track an uplift with an orchestrated glitchy rework, definitely characteristic of Tobin’s brilliant solo work. Props to Marcus Sugars for the visual accompaniment.Boys Noize: The Remixes: 2004-2011Alex Ridha of Boys Noize is one of our favorite DJs, mostly because his energetic live performances really get us going. He’s remixed a ton of big names all across the board and we love how his dark electro style so unlikely melds with artists like Charlotte Gainsbourg or Feist. Here’s a stream of all of his remixes from 2004-20011, including bangers from Snoop Dog, Cut Copy, David Lynch and Justice. Stream over at Clash Music, you’re welcome.Cat’s Eyes: “To Here Knows When” (My Bloody Valentine cover)Cat’s Eyes is a brand new dream pop project from The Horrors’ frontman Faris Badwan and renowned soprano Rachel Zeffira. Their debut album Cat’s Eyes was named no. 13 in Mojo’s 50 Best Albums of the Year, and their cover of My Bloody Valentine‘s “To Here Knows When,” performed at the Roundhouse last August, gives the spacey spontaneous track a gorgeous operatic clarity. Stay tuned for an exclusive making-of video for one of Cat’s Eyes recent music videos, coming very soon.CREATORS BONUS VIDEOFlying Lotus at the Roundhouse with visuals by AntiVJ.
