Twitch, the live video game streaming platform Amazon acquired last year for $1 billion, is not just for games.
On Thursday, Twitch announced that it’s honoring the birthday of Bob Ross, host of the seminal PBS show The Joy of Painting, by opening Twitch Creative. The new category, which is sponsored by Photoshop developer Adobe, is getting a new landing page dedicated to Twitch users who stream themselves painting, drawin80780g, and so on. If you go there now, you’ll find streamers like Geers_art, a digital painter and illustrator; Evilfx, a professional prop and costume artist; and Vieparlafoi, a glass artist.

The best part of the announcement, though, is that Twitch also secured the rights to broadcast Bob Ross’ entire The Joy of Painting archive. All 403 episodes will be broadcast on Twitch from October 29 November 6 on twitch.tv/bobross. So if want to learn how to paint happy little bushes, Twitch has the hookup.
